How to Coexist with Your Past in Order to Move Forward

Can we turn the past into a force that draws us into the future?
Childhood, education, happy and traumatic memories - our past never disappears. It always stays with us.
We need to make peace and establish a fruitful relationship with our memory, which is not an archive of information, as it may seem. Neurobiology teaches us that memory is dynamic and fluid. Our memories are not fixed; they are like a score that needs to be interpreted anew each time.
We must reconsider our relationship with the past. By drawing on cognitive sciences, new methods of psychotherapy, classical wisdom of philosophy, literature, and cinema, Charles Pepin shows readers that we can maintain free and creative relationships with the legacy of our memory.
Our well-being depends on our ability to coexist with the past. Charles Pepin's brilliant book gives us the key to achieving this goal.
