Women Artists

In this book from the "Fundamentals of Art" series, curator and lecturer at University College London Flavia Frigeri introduces us to the lives and works of 57 renowned women artists from the last five centuries, who worked in various fields of visual art. Among the heroines of the book are Artemisia Gentileschi, Georgia O'Keeffe, Louise Bourgeois, Frida Kahlo, and Marina Abramović. The text is complemented by numerous illustrations, a glossary of special terms, a timeline of key events in the history of the women's movement, as well as a list of additional literature.
