Artificial Intelligence

This book tells the story of how humanity has gradually, step by step, moved towards the creation of artificial intelligence and how it has become an integral part of our lives. How did scientists, philosophers, and writers of different eras envision artificial intelligence? What mechanisms did our ancestors create to facilitate the solving of intellectual tasks, and in what ways do algorithms today surpass ourselves? How will our relationship with these new entities unfold? What — or whom — are we creating: loyal assistants or potential enemies? What ethical issues are associated with the use of artificial intelligence? The author does not provide definitive answers to these questions but explains their importance and encourages the reader to reflect on them.
