Grandfather

Among the anomalous zones, anything can be encountered. Caution must be observed here, or you'll end up in "hell" and won't even have a wet spot left. Or mutants will eat you. And there are bandits everywhere - free, you see, people. There is also the Wasteland - a doomed place where you wouldn't dare go alone even during the day, and yet he lives there. Alone! He is called Grandfather, Beard, or Old Man. No one knows who he is and where he came from. Strange. He says he is looking for some kind of "reverse death." But is there such a thing? Nonsense! Grandfather associates with "free people," bringing valuable resources for exchange. Where did he get such wealth? He doesn't reveal his secrets. But for the "free" ones, it's just right to take what lies poorly. They decided to track Grandfather, but nothing good came from it. And one of them - a figure not particularly important, ended up in Grandfather's bunker. You could say, for re-education... Love contributed. Her name was Varvara. Grandfather found his mysterious artifact; "reverse death" helped him take down a bunch of bandits and fulfill his debt, but it ended Grandfather's life... So think about what will still be important for a true person even after the end of the world.
