War with Salamanders

In search of pearls, Captain Van Toh discovers unusual creatures near the islands of the Pacific Ocean. They resemble salamanders but possess intelligence and, as it turns out, learn quickly. Van Toh wants to help these hardworking beings and begins to settle them among humans. Thus began a new chapter in the history of the salamanders, who gradually evolved. They learned to speak, adopted human habits and ways of thinking. But they still remained nothing more than cheap labor. No one suspected that one day these mysterious beings would assert their rights and decide to put an end to human domination.
