In ancient times, characters from fairy tales were real and encountered by mortals almost every day.
I traveled a lot, collecting legends, rumors, and even outright fabrications about Maras and Moroks. One day I stumbled upon the story of one Mara, who lived approximately three hundred years before the disappearance of all the priestesses of the goddess of Death.
Her real name was deliberately hidden, and I am sure that this story turned out to be special because the girl's family could not fulfill the main rule – to leave their homeland.
