Malachite Box

A vividly illustrated book for children of middle school age.

In 1966, N. Kocherhin created a set of twelve postcards for the tales of P. Bazhov - one postcard for each tale.

To be precise, twelve were published - he prepared more, and the artist's archive contains pencil sketches for the tales "The Iron Grandmother" and "Cat's Ears", as well as his explanations of the content of the postcards.
