14 Forest Mice. Picnic

"14 Forest Mice" is a very popular series of books in Japan and many European countries about the beauty of everyday life and the lives of three generations of a mouse family: grandmother, grandfather, mother, father, and about a dozen little mice.
In the book "14 Forest Mice. Picnic" the whole family goes for a walk in the spring forest. The first flowers, warm sunshine, shoots of ferns, fresh breeze from the stream, and encounters with forest inhabitants - there is so much interesting to explore and learn! For young readers and their parents, there are tips on the endpapers - drawings of the most common spring forest and meadow flowers and grasses. So that you, like the mouse family, can recognize them on your walk and picnic!
Iwamura's books resemble miniature dollhouses, where you want to examine and touch every detail, and each small event is filled with true Japanese philosophy and appreciation of life in every moment.
