Notes of a Hunter

The main character of the famous cycle of stories by Ivan Turgenev «Notes of a Hunter», a young landowner, travels through the nearby villages and shares stories about the nature and life of landowners and peasants.

Amazingly vivid and substantial characters of Russian people seem to grow out of their native nature, naturally continuing the Russian landscape.

Critics and readers highly appreciated Turgenev's mastery as a word artist and a master of subtle psychological insight.
