A Year Without You

After the death of her best friend, the heroine lives with a heavy sense of guilt for nine months and tries to keep everyone at a distance. Her mother sends her to Hope Hall, a closed school in Switzerland, hoping to pull her daughter out of her familiar environment and give her a chance to start over. In this new place, she wants to remain unnoticed, but people begin to appear around her, gradually breaking through this protection. The school routine, new connections, and constant memories force her to decide whether it is possible to get close to others again without feeling that the past has been devalued.
