Jupiter has been perceived for centuries as the Great Benefactor, and many astrologers believe that this planet brings luck, the opportunity for self-improvement and a better world, as well as material and emotional rewards. Sometimes this interpretation is absolutely true, however, it can also be erroneous. The manifestation of Jupiter at personal and collective levels is rarely simple and unambiguous and often, on the contrary, is considered negative. Jupiter's transits also present us with a rather contradictory picture. Sometimes grand opportunities arise before us, and life seems wonderful. Other times, these transits are accompanied by the collapse of relationships, financial difficulties, the onset of serious illness, and even death. It also happens that positive and negative aspects of Jupiter occur simultaneously. Aspects of Jupiter in the natal chart are also far from always being beneficial in the commonly accepted sense of the word. The most complex and mysterious planets in astrology are considered to be Neptune and Pluto, however, Jupiter, in a sense, is the most enigmatic of all celestial bodies in our Solar System. What does Jupiter really symbolize? Three seminars held by Liz Greene in 2021 provide a comprehensive exploration of the paradoxical and unpredictable nature of Jupiter with the aim of gaining a clearer understanding of this treacherous and truly magical planet.
