The second part of the trilogy about Latro, who wakes up in an unfamiliar world every morning. The warrior's memory is still wiped clean every night, yet he is the only one who sees the gods in flesh and can speak with them. It is hard to say whether this is a gift or a curse—ancient deities of Antiquity are jealous, impatient, and demanding…
Latro finds himself caught up in a web of intrigues woven by both gods and mere mortals, each seeking their own advantage. Latro himself has a goal: he wants to know who he is and where he comes from, and to gain the long-awaited freedom.
With loyal friends, the warrior will travel to the very heart of Hellas: through Thrace, where warrior Amazons rule, to Athens and Sparta. He will have to participate in the Olympic Games and decide if he is willing to pay the price the gods will set for his liberation.
