Black Domes. A Shot into the Past

Finding an American spy in the vicinity of the Novgorod monastery during the Great Patriotic War is a task destined to fail for everyone except the experienced time traveler Lieutenant Colonel Kotov. In the fourth book of the "black series" by A. Kontorovich, the hero travels back in time in his own body – and who knows if he will be able to return alive this time from the territory captured by the Germans? September 1941 became the most disastrous month for the Soviet army. Kotov and a handful of soldiers caught in the encirclement face the forces of the Abwehr, the "Brandenburg-800" battalion, and Wehrmacht snipers. But many mysteries remain hidden in the local forests, unknown even to the intelligence services... A dynamic, gripping plot, realistic depiction of scenes, and narration from the perspective of the main character make A. Kontorovich's "black series" one of the finest examples of military-historical fiction.
