Kostya Pchealkin, who was positive in every way, studied well, played the violin, and never associated with the yard boys – the "outcasts of society," as his mother said. This continued until Kostik saw Lena Makarova. He saw her – and he was lost. That day, Kostya's perfect picture of the world collapsed.
