Koshuny. From Ancient Myth to Our Days

What is this book about, the curious reader will ask when they first come across this edition? This book is about mystical Slavic symbols - koshuny, or koshtyuny, as they were called in ancient times. A book about sacred images or encoded myths that have reached us through the ages. Those who have already encountered the prophetic system of koshuny, who are familiar with the book "Koshuny, Speaking the Truth" and with "Tales", will immediately understand what is at stake. Because "Koshuny: From Ancient Myth to Our Days" is an immersion into the study of the development and formation of koshuny, using historical examples from mythology, literature, art, and folklore. For the first time, it provides a detailed description of what koshuny represented throughout historical development. Those for whom this book will be the first acquaintance with the topic will discover a new mysterious world of encoded mythological images of the Slavs, with the help of which one can not only get acquainted with the antiquities of the Slavs but also explore the events of their own lives: receiving real advice and predictions. Koshuny (koshtyuny, as they were called in ancient times) are images borrowed and systematized by the author Zhyvaa Bozhyslavna from Slavic mythology, folklore, literature, and everyday life. The system of koshuny is divided into two circles - the Great Circle, corresponding to the mysteries of the gods (Kolo Pravi), and the Small Circle (Kolo Yavi), representing the everyday domestic beginning, or the everyday reality of the Slavs. Each koshun contains descriptions of mythological and fairy-tale roots. For example, the original myth about the kolobok was lost in the mists of time, while the tale about it has safely reached our days. And thanks to it, we still learn about such realities of Slavic life as "susyeki", "granaries", while an ordinary townsfolk has a rather vague notion of such things, which simply do not exist in our everyday life. Yet the smallest child, without thinking, will tell you the tale of the kolobok, unconsciously conveying together with emotions "that very meaning" that the ancient ancestors of the Slavs laid into this tale. On the pages of the book, the reader will meet heroes well known to them since early childhood - the Firebird, Snow Maiden, and the Little Rooster - with the golden comb. And thanks to this, the reader will gain a new perspective on... the familiar. What did these images mean long before our birth, and even before the birth of our mothers, grandmothers, and grandfathers? Who are they really, the beloved heroes of our tales? The true significance of these characters will be revealed precisely through the original - the prism of mythological perception.
