Ak Bure. Crimean Tatar Saga

The life of three generations of a Crimean Tatar family, as told in the novel "Ak Bure", is inextricably linked to the most important events in the history of Russia and Crimea in particular. These include World War II, the deportation of Crimean Tatars, and their struggle to return to their homeland.

The author has managed to organically combine seemingly incompatible things: a gripping adventure novel and documentary narrative, where the events of recent history are told with diligence and truthfulness. One of the key characters in the novel, Eskender, a younger member of the Ismailov family, travels to Kazan for family matters. From that moment on, a series of incredible events begins. The author follows the traditions of Gogol, Bulgakov, and Saltykov-Shchedrin, who depict even the most grotesque phenomena of surrounding reality with humor. The action of the novel takes place in Tashkent, Kazan, Moscow, and Crimea.
