Lotos is a demonic executioner, chosen by chaos itself. One touch of her hand can turn the guilty into dust. Everyone around her are her enemies. Especially the Faceless - the most dangerous and unpredictable demon of the underworld, who hides his face behind a mask.
For centuries they have despised each other, but when darkness gathers around, and Lotos becomes the victim of a conspiracy, the Faceless is the only one who comes to her aid.
She has no reason to trust him. He has no reason to help her. All that exists between them is mutual hatred. But then why does Lotos' cursed heart suddenly beat?
And why does the Faceless feel sick that it beats for someone else?
This time we will plunge into a world of an alternative Middle Ages, where demons, kitsune, sorcerers, and werewolves live among people. The strongest demon, who does not care about anyone except his mysterious garden, and the most unyielding avenger, running from herself. Will she prove that love is stronger than hate or will she continue her soulless mission as an executioner?
