Syria at the Crossroads of Eras and Civilizations

Syria is one of the oldest countries in the Mediterranean with an extraordinarily rich and original history.

It seemed as if the very heavens blessed this land with unique natural landscapes, vast pastures, river valleys with fertile soil, and a rich plant and animal world. And most importantly — its advantageous geographical position between the West, East, and South predetermined this land to become a treasury of Antiquity and the Middle Ages.

But the blessing of Syria has also turned into an eternal curse. Many conquerors have coveted its lands. Like a magnet, it attracted misfortunes.

And this curse still acts to this day... The next book in the series tells about ancient and modern Syria.
