Just the End of the World

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of mysticism with the novel «Just the End of the World». This book is a real find for lovers of mystical thrillers and dark fantasy.

In 2012, three teenagers — Katya, Zhenya, and Yura — live in concrete high-rises on the outskirts of Moscow, in an area surrounded by a forest. From the outside, they seem inseparable friends, but the illusion crumbles when Katya's body is found in the forest river Smorodinka. The forest has long held a bad reputation among the residents of the area. For many years, people have disappeared from it without a trace.

In Katya's death, they blame either a serial killer supposedly operating in the forest, or her friends, or her boyfriend, Ruslan.

All this marks the beginning of a series of supernatural events. «Just the End of the World» combines elements of fantasy, mysticism, and horror, creating an atmosphere of horror and tension.

One thing is clear. For Zhenya and Yura, the death of their former friend is closely intertwined with the general anticipation of the end of the world, predicted long ago, and becomes the beginning of a personal apocalypse.

In 2024, the book «Just the End of the World» was included in the longlist of the «Lyceum» award in the «Prose» category.
