Jean Giraud, better known by the pseudonym Moebius, is one of the pillars of the «ninth art». He blurred genre boundaries and opened new dimensions of graphic storytelling. His groundbreaking works became a milestone in the history of comics and had a huge impact on several generations of writers, artists, and directors around the globe—from Europe to Japan. Without Moebius’s creativity, iconic sci-fi films such as «Blade Runner», «The Fifth Element», and «Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind» would look completely different.
This collection is an ideal guide to the worlds of the great visionary, where dreams, absurdity, and philosophy intertwine in a quirky knot of images and ideas. The book includes «The Long Tomorrow», «Deviation», «Stopover in Faragonesh», «Arzak», and other stories.
