We Pay Close Attention: Four Applications of Remembrance

The ability to maintain focused mindfulness is a skill that can be mastered, and it is incredibly useful in life. This book presents the theory and application of the method that the Buddha called the direct path to enlightenment - simple yet powerful practical techniques that enable the development of mindfulness, allowing anyone, regardless of their tradition or belief, to achieve true inner well-being and freedom from suffering.
Alen Wallace, drawing on his experience as a monk, scholar, and contemplative, offers us a rich synthesis of Eastern and Western traditions, as well as a developed system of step-by-step meditations. By following this in practice, the reader will be able to articulate and contemplate some of the most fundamental questions and subject them to contemplative study. Wallace emphasizes: a personal practical search is essential. The aim of these methods is to heal the mind and remove obstacles on the path to direct realization of the profound nature of human experience.
"We Pay Attention" methodically continues the explanation of the theory and practice of meditations presented in A. Wallace's book "The Revolution of Attention".
