Predicted Death

The renowned French writer and screenwriter Muriel Roman transports us to 16th century Paris, to the very heart of court life at the Louvre. Historical figures from textbooks and people whose memory has survived only in archives come to life once again on the pages of a saga filled with plot twists and passion - in love and hate, courage and loyalty. The first part of the trilogy "The Flying Squadron" - "Predicted Death" - illuminates the events surrounding the tragic demise of Henry II. When Nostradamus's prophecy of the king's death came true, Catherine de' Medici, who had previously been merely a nominal wife and queen, rose to the pinnacle of power. To find Henry II's killer, she creates the Flying Squadron: four girls loyal to her, sensual, smart, and fearless spies, ready to do everything for the success of their first mission.
