Kite

The kite flies over the sea — the Bay of Bengal, where Lena had just barely escaped drowning.
This moment became the second defining one in her life, the first she tries to bury in memory forever.
At that moment, lying on the sand, Lena realized: the only way to thank the Indian girl who saved her life was to give her an education and a chance for the future. After all, Lena is a teacher not only by profession but also by vocation.
But for a woman with a European mindset, it is not easy to start her own business in provincial India, full of traditions and prejudices, especially difficult to open a school. Lena's life is now about to begin anew, filled with new fears and disappointments, but also new opportunities and new victories. Moreover, she has her own reasons not to return to her former life.
