You are holding the famous book by Osho, containing 112 meditation techniques from the Vigyana Bhairava Tantra, which, according to legend, the god Shiva imparted to his wife Devi more than five thousand years ago. The very title "Vigyana Bhairava Tantra" means a way to transcend consciousness. Vigyana means "consciousness", Bhairava means "a state beyond consciousness", and Tantra means "method". The wisdom of these techniques is such that they take into account all possible types of people and their psychological characteristics, so every single person will be able to find meditations here that suit them: exercises related to breathing, aimed at centering, attention, sensitivity, stop techniques, etc.
And, of course, the most important treasure of this book is the answers to the students' questions and Osho's comments, who explains each method in detail and comprehensively, making the hidden meaning of Shiva's poetic and mysterious statements understandable to modern people and potentially serving as the beginning of a new life for them.
