Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay

The action of the third part of the Neapolitan quartet, dubbed "the greatest literary epic of our time," takes place in the late 1960s and the 1970s. The story of the friendship between Elena Greco and Lila Cerullo continues against a turbulent historical backdrop: student protests, street violence, a growing labor movement... After separating from her husband, Lila moved with her young son to a new housing area and works at a sausage factory. Elena left Naples, graduated from an elite college, published a book, is preparing to get married, and become a member of an influential family. Life pulls them further apart, and they become only voices on the other end of the line for each other. Will their relationship withstand the test of changes?
