The Last Book. Not Just Italy

The book you are holding turned out to be the last not only in the series "Images of Italy in the XXI Century," but also in the life of Arkady Ippolitov - a brilliant scholar and writer. "Only Venice," "Especially Lombardy," and "Simply Rome" became bright events in the intellectual life of our country, achieving deserved success and admiration from the reading audience. The "Last Book" includes chapters from the author's second book about Rome, which was destined to remain unfinished, his articles from various years about the exhibition projects he curated, interviews in his memory, and a poignant preface by Sergey Nikolaevich.
