How Tasia Lived

Tasia is a happy girl. She has a loving family – a dad and mom and a brother and sister. She does not go to school yet, but spends her days under the supervision of a nanny. Tasia lives in a big, cozy house, filled with toys. But more than anything, the girl loves her old stuffed bear – an unremarkable one, with worn fur. On her name day, she is given another toy – a white, new bear. So what now, throw away her best friend? Maria Tolmacheva wrote the story "How Tasia Lived" in 1913. However, everything that happens to the main character could very well happen today.
