Tamuk

In a remote Bashkir village, seven-year-old Nailya habitually sits down to watch the television, which has long stopped showing anything. But if you stare for a long time at the gray ripples, two batyrs - Uraly Shulgen - will appear, and it turns out that Nailya herself is involved in the eternal struggle between good and evil in the fantastic world of Bashkir epics, filled with chthonic monsters, shapeshifters, and primitive terror.
The book includes the novel "Tamuk" and the story "Laysan".

The author of the book won in the "Silver Pen" nomination of the IV season of the Literary Competition "White Crow".
