Josh Bell and his twin brother Jordan play basketball like gods, and it's no surprise: their father is Charles "DaMan" Bell, a former famous basketball player who left his career at its peak. The strong bond between the thirteen-year-old brothers is suddenly shattered by matters of the heart: Jordan gets a girlfriend. And soon it turns out that this expression means not only romantic adventures but also real heart problems, like a myocardial infarction.
An amazing-shaped novel written in rap verses - a story about how hard it is to grow up and how important family support is when it seems like everything in life is going wrong.
The book became a New York Times bestseller, won the Newbery Medal, and was nominated for many important literary awards. The rap adaptation into Russian was done by poet and musician Mikhail Fenichev (of the groups 2H Company, YesYesYes)
