Poems

"From Moscow to Brest / There is no place, / Where we would not wander in the dust..." These words about war correspondents fully apply to their author. The "military theme," which became the life and fate of Konstantin Simonov, entered his lyrics not with the roar of artillery, but with a piercing melody, both brave and tender. His poems - about love and fidelity, about valor and cowardice, about friendship and betrayal - were passed from soldier to soldier and copied. They helped to survive. "...How I survived, we will know / Only you and I..." - Simonov wrote. This collection of selected poems by the poet opens for the reader a holistic and unique artistic world created by Konstantin Simonov.
