Animals in War

The victory in the Great Patriotic War is one of the main events in the history of our country. Millions of soldiers fought for Victory on the front lines, along with civilians in the rear, and animals and birds! Four-legged and winged fighters participated in the most dangerous military operations alongside humans, delivering important supplies, working as miners and scouts, signalers and medics. Writer Viktor Kokosov collected stories about dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, moose, pigeons, camels, and even one goat, from which readers will learn how important and valuable the contribution of animals was to our Victory.
