Erotica

Lou Andreas-Salomé (1861–1937) was a writer, philosopher, and psychoanalyst. She was one of the smartest, most insightful, and painfully captivating women of the turn of the century. Lou was never afraid to acknowledge her eternal apprenticeship, continuing her path of knowledge and self-discovery until her death, as if following the words of her friend F. Nietzsche: "Become who you are!" Our collection includes her psychoanalytic articles, including the most famous one, "Erotica," which was reissued many times during her lifetime. In addition to her scientific works, the reader can get acquainted with Lou Salomé's amazing memories of her close friends — F. Nietzsche, R.M. Rilke, Z. Freud.
