Pulp

«Pulp» is Bukowski's last novel, his swan song – absolutely contraindicated for readers without a sense of humor!

It is indeed a special kind of parody, dedicated to "bad literature." The plot of the book is devoid of dynamics, devoid of intrigue, devoid of everything, but it is precisely for that reason infinitely brilliant.

The main virtue of the novel is the narrative style. Descriptions and dialogues are overflowing with an atmosphere of dirt, violence, and fear.

At the same time, Bukowski literally parodies genuine pulp fiction with every sentence.

And although the author's style is simplified to the extreme - it is worth noting the stunning sense of humor that will surely appeal to readers who possess this sense.
