Notes on the Search for Spirits

"Notes on the Search for Spirits" Gan Bao - a collection of xiaoshuo, short narrative stories about all kinds of unusual, miraculous, and incredible events. The author not only finds these stories in ancient texts but also records them from contemporaries - clerks, post station chiefs, commoners, peasants, whose names are known only in Gan Bao's records - to finally dispel the reader's doubts about the existence of the supernatural world of spirits and demons.
