Punishment

The gift of compassion and healing becomes a heavy burden for Shcherbata, and the strict provisions of the Healers' Law deprive her of the happiness of motherhood.
It would have been better if her son had never come into the world! Lomaka grows up as a true punishment for his mother's sin, sowing only blood and death around.
Gradually, Shcherbata comes to the conclusion that no one but her can stop this nightmare.
"Punishment" is the second book of the special edition duology "The Secret of Shcherbata".
