Infinitely Long Spring

"Infinitely Long Spring" is the debut work of Lida Starodubtseva, a cycle of Karelian stories in which the author paints portraits of young women. In search of their place in life, they seem to capture what is happening, listen to their sensations, feeling neither pain, nor joy, nor fear, observing themselves from the outside. Together, the stories create a unified space where the new turns into the ancient, one life echoes in another—and this flow is never interrupted.
