The Tale of the Red-Haired Girl

The tale by Lydia Budogoskaya, written nearly a hundred years ago, still retains its charm. With surprising sincerity and simplicity, the author paints pictures of the life of a young gymnasium student in the 1910s. She has a rare name, an unusual appearance, and a dreamy, independent character. Life is not easy for her, both at home and at the gymnasium. A rich inner world of the young heroine unfolds before the readers. A world that helps her live and seek her path to happiness.
