Rig Veda, Zend-Avesta and Gathas

In this work, the renowned Russian biblicist, exegete, translator, statesman, and public figure Georgy Konstantinovich Vlastov (1827–1899) provides a translation of seven songs (gathas) that are part of Yasna, the first and most important section of the Avesta, as well as a brief description of the Rig Veda — a collection of Aryan religious hymns, the oldest monument of Indian literature. G.K. Vlastov analyzes these texts, conducting a comparative analysis among other things. This book may be useful and interesting for those who are interested in the history, religion, and philosophy of the ancient Aryans.
