The Drummer's Fate

Teenager Seryozha has a difficult fate: his mother drowned, his father was imprisoned for embezzlement, and his stepmother soon left with her new husband to the Caucasus. Left all alone, Seryozha feels lost and begins to interact with random people. And then two strangers appear in his apartment, one of whom introduces himself as his stepmother's brother. Leaving his home, the boy sets off with them to the south, but soon realizes that the two newly acquainted are not who they claim to be. Drawings by T. Bulgakova. For middle school age.
