From prehistoric times to the present, it has been vitally important for people to find shelter that protects from rain and wind, snow, or summer heat. Over time, construction methods evolved, simple huts turned into houses, castles, and tall skyscrapers, yet many of us still dream of having our own treehouse where we can enjoy peace and quiet. The author of the book is Maxim Burton, an experienced adventurer and a professional in the field of survival. He has prepared 22 instructions that will help you build various shelters: from a quinzee (to hide from snowfalls) and Robinson's hut (to protect from the scorching sun) to a real treehouse. In the book, you will find basic construction techniques and learn what materials and tools you will need for your shelter. For middle school age.
