Peaches for Monsieur Cure

«Peaches for Monsieur Cure» — the third part of the «chocolate tetralogy» by Joanne Harris. It is a story of vivid characters, old and new friends of Vianne Rocher: handsome men, mysterious women, sweet little ones, and colorful eccentric old folks. It is magic — homey and delicious, like peach jam. Vianne passionately helps people facing injustice, alienation, and outright cruelty. That is her character. The intensity of emotions in the finale is incredible. The entire cycle of the «chocolate tetralogy» consists of novels that should be read in the following order: «Chocolate», «Candy Shoes», «Peaches for Monsieur Cure», and «Strawberry Thief». A wonderful remedy for the blues!
