Blockade Diaries and Documents. From the FSB Archive

Vasily Gavrilenko, historian, writer, journalist, and author of a popular blog on Zen, will tell you about the fates of Russian women, which will take you through the layers of time into real historical events from Ancient Rus to the twilight of the Russian Empire. History has long been focused on men. But times are changing, and the lives of peasant women, merchants, and noblewomen paint the true Russian history for us. This book will not leave you indifferent. For on the dark canvas of violence, cruelty, and the harshness of women's fate, true nobility, friendship, and love are best seen. Lives resembling movie scripts, dramas that seem impossible to endure. Happy love and noble deeds that give hope for a better future.
