The Discovery Micro Marine microscope is a convenient device that is ideal for first encounters with the microscopic world, as it is simple in design and allows you to observe many tiny structures. For example, it can be used to study the cellular structure of plant and animal tissues, as well as to observe life in a drop of water. You can also view prepared slides with this microscope.

Optical system:

The microscope's magnification range is from 40 to 640 times, which is not enough to detect bacteria but sufficient for viewing many transparent samples. The revolving nosepiece is designed for three objectives (4x, 10x, and 40x). The sliding eyepiece can be fixed in two positions: 10x or 16x. The eyepiece is non-removable, so you won't lose it. The head's tilt angle of 45° provides maximum convenience for observation. Coarse focus knobs are used to adjust sharpness. The adjustment of the optical scheme is simple and requires no further explanations.

Adjustment of the LED lighting system:

The stage is equipped with metal clips used to hold the sample under the objective. Below the stage is an aperture disk. It helps regulate the light flow, as well as the backlighting with a small LED with adjustable brightness. Since the illumination is powered by batteries (not included), the microscope can be conveniently used outdoors. It is recommended to use the backlight when ambient light is insufficient for comfortable observation.

Knowledge book of the micro world:

The knowledge book "Invisible World" (included) will help you quickly get started with exploring the micro world. It describes the structure of the microscope, the features of working with it, and the tiny inhabitants of the micro world. The book is written in an accessible language. It also contains colorful pictures and descriptions of simple experiments that can be conducted at home under adult supervision. Important information is clearly highlighted.
