Cats and kittens have settled in world literature since the 14th century, long before the epic saga by Erin Hunter "Warriors". For all lovers of these fluffy and mischievous pets, we have collected 50 amazing cat stories created by Russian and foreign writers of the 19th - early 20th century, among which are L. N. Tolstoy, A. P. Chekhov, A. I. Kuprin, E. M. Chistyakova-Vere, A. I. Vvedensky, S. T. Aksakov, A. L. Bostrom, E. N. Vodovozova and many others.
You will be greeted with incredible adventures of cats and kittens of various colors, characters, and breeds: here are cute kittens, restless pranksters, and warriors capable of standing up to even large dogs!
Our book is not only an excursion into the magical world of cats but also a discovery of an entire layer of unknown children's literature. And also - a great lesson in love for animals, which will be useful for both children and adults.
The book is decorated with masterpieces by the best animal artists and illustrators of children's books from the 19th century.
