Ufologists in Civilians. How Special Services Work with UFOs

Flying saucers, big-eyed humanoids, night abductions, and mysterious signals from space — all this is UFOs, the subject of heated debates and crazy beliefs. But where UFOs appear, one should also expect people in black. British writer and paranormal researcher Mark Pilkington decided to find out what secret agents are up to, who supposedly know where flying saucers come from and where aliens hide, but do everything to keep ordinary people in the dark. What lies behind the image of the silent agent erasing traces? Is there a connection between UFO visits and the activities of special services? And if so, what are they hiding from us?

«Ufologists in Civvies» is an engaged study of ufomania, which engulfed the planet in the mid-twentieth century and has not subsided until now. At a ufologist congress and at an American military base, in the deserts of Nevada and the slums of Detroit, Pilkington talks to a variety of people, from enthusiasts convinced of the existence of aliens to evasive secret agents, deeply immersing himself in the history of alleged contacts with extraterrestrial life and arriving at paradoxical conclusions that will turn your understanding not only of aliens but also of humans upside down.
