Three Men in a Boat To Say Nothing of the Dog

Three Men in a Boat, to say nothing of the dog – is a humorous novella by Jerome K. Jerome, which has not lost its popularity since the 19th century. Three friends, Jay, George, and Harris, deciding to improve their health, set off on a journey up the Thames from Kingston to Oxford. They take with them a dog named Montmorency. Along the way, the friends find themselves in various absurd situations, from which they emerge with the dignity characteristic of English gentlemen. Originally, this book was intended as a guidebook, so it contains descriptions of landmarks and towns, as well as entertaining facts about the history and geography of these places.
