Flying Predators

Millions of years ago, our planet was inhabited by amazing creatures. Thanks to paleontologists, modern humans are learning more and more about what the animal world was like in prehistoric times. Fossilized remains of dinosaurs are still being found in the earth, and by studying them carefully, new species are being discovered. Many finds have been made accidentally by people far from science during the construction of roads, bridges, and buildings. Of course, dinosaur remains had been found before, but no one could determine what these giant animals were. This book features 12 pterosaurs. You will learn what they were like, where and when they lived, what they ate, and how they hunted. You will be able to solve a crossword puzzle and a word search, where, in addition to pterosaurs, other animals are hidden. You will find a map of the prehistoric world on which you can stick stickers depicting pterosaurs.
