Constructor - COBI DR BR 52 Steam Locomotive, 2505 pieces.
The model of the locomotive is scaled at 1:35, and in addition to detailed features such as symbols, numbering, and marking, it has numerous impressions of «clocks» inside the locomotive's engine room. Thanks to the easily removable roof of the engine room, you can peek inside to see the accurately reproduced details of the devices used to control the vehicle. Attention has also been paid to details, such as an imitation of burning coal in the firebox! Just like in a real steam locomotive, the entire wheel mechanism is linked in such a way that it moves simultaneously. Inside the model, there are gears that form a complex mechanism providing realistic movement of the wheels and all drives. Just gently press on the model to move the entire system.
The set also includes a figure of a German railway worker in a World War II uniform. The locomotive features five different wheel designs, some of which include flanges, making it capable of navigating block curves with a gradient scale of R88. It is worth noting that the model is fully compatible, meaning it fits with the block tracks of other brands. The tender, i.e., the car for transporting coal, also accurately reflects the real prototype. Inside, it has a mapped fuel composition. It also has cars with torsion wheels and a special coupling to which other cars can be attached, creating a complete train.
