Alphonse Mucha

The work of the Czech master Alphonse Mucha was special.

He was called extravagant, elaborate, unique, and he entered the history of painting as "Mucha style".

Later, the ability to turn any "trifle", as he himself said, into something original will serve the artist well.

He will be referred to as "the man-sensation" and there will be a particular interest in his work.

The artist was incredibly hardworking and, alongside many genres of art that he himself considered not too serious, created true works, including the "Slav Epic", which will forever remain in the history of painting. Compiled by Andrei Astakhov.
