First Grader

The restless Marusya Orlova is finally becoming a first grader! So many interesting things await the new student! Marusya really wants to get good grades and help her teacher. And it’s okay that she can’t do everything yet, — the girl will surely learn attentiveness and independence. The work of Yevgeny Schwartz is loved by several generations of not only readers but also viewers: the film «First Grader», released in 1948, was made based on the writer's script. Bright and touching, the film tells about the beginning of a school journey, full of events and experiences, about sensitive and wise mentors-teachers, about loving and understanding parents, and, of course, about true friendship and responsibility for one’s actions.
